Facebook ha appena attivato anche in Italia una funzione che consente di individuare gli hotspot wifi gratuiti nelle vicinanze. La nuova funzione, integrata nell’app per smartphone, abbatte l’ultimo fronte di resistenza per chi ancora si rifiutava di condividere la propria posizione.
Per accedere alla funzione, disponibile sia pee iOs che per Android nell’ultimo aggiornamento dell’app, è necessario accedere al menù generale, cliccando sulla sezione Esplora.
Chi non aveva fino a quel momento attivato la localizzazione sull’app, dovrà farlo necessariamente per usufruire del servizio. In tal caso, il passaggio richiede l’autorizzazione dalle impostazioni generali del telefono.
In base alle informazioni messe a disposizione degli esercizi e luoghi pubblici, la funzione mostrerà quali sono i punti sulla mappa dove trovare una connessione libera. Nel caso dei locali, ci saranno tutte le notizie del caso, compreso l’orario d’apertura. Cliccando su Elenco, in alto a sinistra sulla mappa, si avrà accesso alla lista di nomi.
